The proposed design was with the clients’ ideas and imagination in mind with the rear extension that integrates with the rear garden. The proposed design must bring the existing building material into the new pallet and create a flawless blend from old to new. The location of the rear extension is placed where it blends in with the tiered landscaping creating different areas to socialise and gather.
The proposed design was completed to the clients aims to square off the existing kitchen area to allow the area to become more of a usable space. The design of the extension is to use the existing firewall from a previous development & the design of the roof to be vaulted with a velux window to maximise the amount of light within the space.
The proposed design was completed with the clients aims in mind of building a detached double garage to the RHS of the property. The proposed was designed to match the existing property and estate using the surrounding materials and styles. The location of the detached double garage was placed at the existing turning area utilising the existing roads infrastructure.
The proposed design was completed to the clients aims which was to add an additional living space to the existing dwelling with an opportunity to register it as a separate dwelling.
Within the existing garage conversion with rear single storey extension, the client achieved a two-bedroom dwelling with sunroom to the rear. The proposed design allows the client to rent out the proposal or it becomes a perfectly suitable granny flat or first-time buyer.
The proposed works was completed to a ground floor flat in the Uddingston area. The dwelling is an old sandstone building with angled recesses and internal window decoration. The clients aim was to remove an existing window and replace it with French doors with transom window above to provide light deep within the dwelling while keeping the decoration around the opening. The proposed French doors spill out to the clients allocated rear garden space creating an indoor-outdoor space.
The proposed design was completed to the clients aims bridging the gap between the main dwelling and detached garage. The proposed works is enlarging the kitchen and adding a downstairs bedroom with en-suite. Within this design the existing garage roof was removed and blended within the proposed extension which follows the main house roof blending it within the street frontage.
